Michaela Šindlerová is a Czech-born abstract painter whose work explores personal and collective mythologies. Interweaving language and symbolism, she examines how contemporary stories intersect with historical myths to shape cultural memory, probing the forces that determine human experience—ideas of fate, nationality, and gender. She subtly incorporates Slavic mythological elements to reflect on own role.
